Bhopal: Lecturers and teachers working with educational institutions run by Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Department would be imparted training in every subject at the district level with a view to improving results during the next academic session.
The above decision was taken at the meeting of the core group constituted to bring about improvement in the quality of education of department’s schools and cent percent implementation of various educational schemes. The meeting was chaired by Commissioner Tribal Welfare Jaideep Govind.
Commissioner Govind instructed the officers present at the meeting that implementation of all the schemes launched for promotion of education during the last session should be monitored regularly so that effective implementation can be ensured as per intention and directives of the state government. He said that districts should chalk out action plan for the year 2008-09 and ensure its proper implementation and monitoring. Besides, the 60-day action plan prepared by the department must be implemented in such a way that standard of education can be improved right from the beginning of the new session.
The commissioner asked the officials to implement ‘School Chalen Ham Abhiyan-2008′ in an effective way. Cent percent admission of new children and drop outs must be ensured and attendance should be constantly monitored.
Govind said that with a view to making laboratories more active, verification of necessary equipment and material purchased last year be undertaken in the current month. Before the start of the new session, unnecessary material should be written off and replaced by necessary material. He said that the work of maintenance and white-washing of schools should be completed before start of the session.
He said that problems faced by teachers must be redressed within a set time limit by holding problem redressal camps and the problems of state level should be forwarded to the headquarter. Besides, additional teachers should be accommodated as per requirement after appropriation. ([email protected])
