Beirut : Hezbollah has announced that it welcomes any just Arab solution that would end the current crisis in Lebanon.
Political assistant for Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, Hassan Khalil told the press Monday the opposition would not allow it to be attacked by its opponents, adding that it would strike back in self-defence once attacked.
Khalil affirmed that the opposition’s problem with the government lies in the resistance force, adding that they have decided to halt armed strikes and continue with their civil disobedience.
The government should back off from its decisions against Hezbollah, stated Khalil, affirming that the opposition would reach that goal through peaceful protest.
