Terming the multiple bomb blasts as terrorist acts, Indian National Overseas Congress (INOC) president Surinder Malhotra urged central and state law enforcement agencies to conduct a speedy investigation and punish the perpetrators to the full extent of the law.

INOC general secretary George Abraham appealed to all communities to stay vigilant against anti-social elements that are seeking to foment discord and wreak havoc with a deliberate strategy to damage the pluralistic framework of India.

He expressed sympathy for the victims and the families and appealed to everyone to maintain harmony.

The US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) said it was deeply saddened by the loss of life in the blasts.

“Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of the victims. We hope that the authorities are able to bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice as soon as possible,” said USINPAC chairman Sanjay Puri.
