Colombo, Sri Lanka : A new round of fighting killed Seven Tamil Tiger rebels and two Sri Lankan soldiers in the Island’s restive north, the military said Sunday.
The clashes on Saturday were along the fronts in the areas of Mannar, Vavuniya and Welioya, the military said in a statement quoted by the Associated Press.
