New Delhi : Indian middle and long distance runners will participate in a six-week training cum competition tour in London to prepare for the Beijing Olympics.
The athletes will train and compete at Newham Sports Academy, which is located at the host borough of London 2012 Olympics.
The 15-member India team which left Thursday night will take part in five competitions in Britain and three European Grand Prix meets during their stay.
The Indian participation in the European circuit is also aimed to achieve Olympic Qualifying timings.
