New Delhi : The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), a member of the Left Front led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Monday said it was pulling out of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA)-Left coordination committee.
The Left parties extend crucial legislative support to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s collation government. The RSP, which has been increasingly critical of the Congress-led UPA government, has three Lok Sabha MPs.
The UPA-Left coordination committee is meant to be a platform for consultations over policy issues.
