Colombo : At least six people were injured in a bomb blast Wednesday in Dehiwala, about 10 km south of here, a defence official said.
A defence official attached to the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) told IANS that a blast had occurred on the coastal railway track between Wellawatte and Dehiwala at about 7.15 a.m.
“According to initial reports, six people have been injured and admitted to the nearby Kalubowila Hospital. We are waiting for more details,” the official said. t
