New Delhi : At least six people were injured in a bomb blast in the outskirts of Sri Lanka’s national capital, Colombo, early morning, police said.
The injured in the explosion beside a train track in Dehiwala were rushed to a hospital, PTI reported here quoting police sources.
“As of now six people have been admitted to the hospital and are being treated for injuries,” a police officer said.
There was no immediate confirmation of what caused the blast.
The details were not immediately available.
Nine people, including five women, were killed and 71 others injured when a bomb, planted by suspected LTTE rebels, ripped through a packed train in the same area last week.
