Gandhinagar : The Gujarat government Tuesday announced setting up a five-member technical panel to probe last week’s breach in the Narmada water canal.
The committee will also undertake a technical survey of the entire 458-km long canal from the dam site to the Rajasthan border.
The breach had flooded five villages in Kadi sub-district of north Gujarat and resulted in heavy loss of property.
The committee will submit its report in two months.
