The Democrats will seek support for the next general elections through telephone calls, e-mails and visits, and the actions will be carried out in at least 50 districts, where volunteers will play an important role.

According to DCCC president Chris Van Hollen, the Democrats will contact 13 million people .

“Among the strong points, we have a $55 million available fund,” said the opposition congressman for Maryland, who assured the Democrats have the lead over Republicans, since they started their campaign first.

For their part, Republicans are also preparing their propaganda, although they only have $8.5 million, spokesman Ken Spain said.

The House (Lower Chamber) is formed by 435 deputies, and Democrats are the majority, with 236 seats.

In the upcoming general elections, Democrats should defend 12 seats while Republicans will have to protect 36.
