Director General of Police, Pranay Sahaya has instructed all police stations and outposts to keep vigil, conduct searches in hotels, temples, markets and vital government installations and vehicles entering into towns from outside.

Search operation started in the state since last night and sniffer dogs were pressed into service to detect hidden bombs. Security was beefed up in the Raj Bhavan, secretariat building, police headquarters and in residences of state ministers.
