NCM Chairman Md Shafi Qureshi has written a letter to Hussain saying that he will look into the case of Md Danish and his two colleagues who were kept in jail for 29 days for no fault.

Talking to TwoCircles.net Prof. Hussain said that Md Shafi Qureshi has assured him that he will himself investigate in this matter and will find out how the people of the minority community were victimized.

Meanwhile, a campaign is on against genuine appointments made by Jabir Hussain in the council when he was its chairman between 1995 and 2006, by communal elements and their political counterparts and removal of Md Danish who was a III grade employee, and many other employees, appointed by Hussain, from the council is part of the campaign.

False allegations were framed against Md Danish and others and were sent to jail for about a month. Even though they were proved innocent and the charges against him were found baseless, he was removed from his job at the secretariat. To meet both ends, Danish now works with a courier company.

Danish also wrote a letter to NCM regarding prejudice done against him and Hussain was also provided one copy of the letter.

Danish and his colleagues joined secretariat on 10th April 2006 but within a month false allegations were leveled against them and put behind bars from 21st June 2006 to 20th July 2008.
