Baramulla : Minister for social welfare Abdul Gani Vakil, the `Man-Friday’ of Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, has denied that he was ever served with show cause notice by his party over the tirade launched by him against the coalition partner Peoples Democratic Party.

Denying that he was issued any such notice breaching discipline in party, the minister said that no one has the power to send him notice and instead the hype was created by media.

“There is no fact in the assertions that I have served with any notice as no body dare to send me such notice”, he said adding, “It is only creation of media and nothing else”.

Addressing a public rally, here today, Vakil said came down heavily the politicians who, according to him, were playing `cheap politics’.

Accusing regional political parties building castles over the blood and bodies of about 50,000 youth, Minister for Social Welfare and Senior Congress leader Abdul Gani Vakil said that unfortunately blood of youth was being shed for `cheep political tactics used by political parties here’.

Vakil asked the youth to understand the hidden agenda of these politicians and frustrate their designs. “You have to rise to the occasion and avoid to fall in their trap”, addd Vakil.

“When (PDP) is out of power they talk self rule, demilitarization and Pakistan and when BJP is out of power they seek votes on abrogating Article 370.”

He said this shows their in insincerity towards the Kashmir problem. “If Mufti would have been sincere, then he would have sent these proposals to PM, during his own tenure,” he added.

Continuing his tirade against NC, he said that their autonomy is hollow slogan as it has not been restored from last 50 years. “This is just vote bank politics,” he further added.

Lashing out at Hurriyat, Vakil said that they (separatists) forced the children of poor to pick up guns while their own children are living in royal mansions and luxuries.

“They have not done any thing for the welfare of the families, whose near and dear one were provoked by them to pick up guns and died. It is not Syed Ali Shah Geelani, it is Vakil providing them relief”, he said.

He further said that the solution of Kashmir issue can be found only by consensus among political parties of Kashmir.

He further said that Congress workers want to fight elections on own and the party high command has power about formation of alliance.
