Patna : Bihar’s ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) Wednesday began a two-day meet in Nalanda district to chalk out the strategy for the upcoming assembly election.
The session in Rajgir was jointly inaugurated by party president Sharad Yadav and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Sharad Yadav said the party will discuss the strategy to take on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) combine as well as the Congress and Left parties in the October-November assembly polls.
“We will discuss and finalise the strategy to ensure our victory,” he said.
State party president Vijay Choudhary said most party legislators, MPs and senior leaders attended the meet.
