Aligarh: The Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC) has urged the Uttar Pradesh Government to check Sangh Parivar leaders from vitiating the peaceful communal atmosphere in the wake of the coming verdict of the Special Court on the title suit of Babri Masjid.
Constitution of India is the supreme guiding force of India and a lawful and civilized society should honour verdict of the court in any case including Babri Mosque case. But some of the members of the BJP & RSS are openly threatening that the temple will be constructed at the place at all cost.
“The MBMC condemns such statements which are against the Indian Constitution and its spirit. Leaders of the RSS & BJP are communalizing the issue which is purely legal. MBMC demands that the Uttar Pradesh government should take immediate note of such development and take action against those who are exploiting the situation,” the Aligarh based group said after holding an emergency meeting and passing a resolution on the issue two days back.
The meeting, under the chairmanship of Prof. Razaullah Khan, Chairman, Department of Civil Engg., Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, was to take stock of the emerging socio-politico situation after deliverance of the judgment on the Babri Mosque/Ram Janm Bhumi case. The MBMC members expressed deep concern over the statements of the some leaders belonging to RSS & BJP. They voiced their concern over outbursts that temple will be constructed on the
site whatever the decision of the Hon’ble Court may be.
The Special Court in Lucknow of Allahabad High Court has completed hearing in the case and reserved verdict for September 2010.
The MBMC has also declared that “it will honour and respect verdict of the Hon’ble court in respect of Babri Mosque demolition case and appeals to all concerned to follow the same cause.
