Ehteshamuddin’s journey from Madarsa to University

Azamgarh: Mr. Ehteshamuddin s/o Mr. Mohd. Abubakar is an L.L.M. student of Jamia Millia University in Delhi. He is an alumnus of Shibli National College, Azamgarh, from where he passed L.L.B in first division. Ehtesham belongs to Mohalla Belsad (Post Tetari Bazar) in District Sidharthnagar of UP. Coming from a humble rural background, Ehtesham has his early education from a Madarsa in Belsad and later secondary education from a Hindi medium S.S. Inter College, Naugarh, Sidharthnagar.

Ehtesham graduated from Allahabad University and joined Shibli National College, Azamgarh for a professional degree in Law. He successfully competed for enrolment in central university Jamia Millia Islamia for his postgraduation. Ehtesham lays emphasis on a determined effort to achieve something positive in life and discourages an inferiority complex among Madarsa students. He admires the good qualities and values of Madarsa education, foremost among them are the discipline and tradition.

Ehtesham, in spite of his good academic record and success in open competition, advocates reservation for Muslims both in education and employment. He also feels that parents should sacrifice and curtail their expenditure in order to spend on their ward’s education. He gives credit to his parents for his success.
