This is a picture of employees of GVK-1 Shopping Mall in Hyderabad removing the shooting game “Killing a Terrorist,” after Muslims complained about it. The figure of a terrorist is in Muslim garb holding a rocket launcher ready to strike and children are expected to kill him before he pulls his trigger.

The company that was operating this game got this from the USA but it never occurred to them that this is just wrong. Not only it is offensive to Muslims but what message are being sent to the innocent ones? How sad it is that in a city with predominantly Muslim population none of the game people or people running the mall thought that there is something wrong with this game. Andhra Pradesh that is hit by Naxalite terror for decades but sees Muslim as a threat. India follows the Western lead so much that Indians forget that Islam has a fourteen hundred years history in this country. It is about time that India recognize and acknowledge its Islamic part and do not let Western ideas of Islam and Muslims ruin community relations here.
