Adv Khalid Azmi visits Azamgarh, vows to fight Shahid’s cases

Azamgarh: “Hazaron sal nargis apni benoori pe roti hai, badi mushkil se hota hai chaman me dedawar paida”. This Urdu couplet aptly depicts martyred Shahid Azmi who was an epitome of courage and conviction. Shahid’s achievement through legal battles in court and the adverse circumstances he faced in his short life is amazing, to say the least.
Shahid’s younger brother Khalid Azmi has admiringly stood up to continue the battle started by his illustrious brother. As a legal advisor of Jamiat Ulama, Maharashtra, Khalid is looking after the cases of unfortunate persons languishing in jail in.
Association for Welfare, Medical, Educational and Legal Assistance (AWMELA) invited Khalid Azmi to address a select gathering in the Conference Hall of Darul Musannefin Shibli Academy, Azamgarh.
Recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Maulana Umair Us Siddique Nadwi followed by its translation started the proceeding of this function. The meeting was presided by Maulana Umair and Dr. Javed Akhtar, President AWMELA, conducted the proceedings.
A number of speakers came forward to appreciate the good work done by martyred Shahid and expressed their satisfaction and pleasure at the bold initiative taken by young Khalid Azmi. In his address Khalid promised to complete the task of his brother and pursue legal battle as envisaged by his courageous and exceptionally talented brother. Meeting ended in dua by Maulana Umair who emphasized the importance of faith and righteous deeds in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions (ra) in his presidential remarks.

Sharare barQ se
Shadab,
If our celebrations with words like شرار برق (sharare barw)are writeen شرار برک (sharare bark) then I think we should use sharare barf (شرار برف). Hope you are able to pick up the nuances of how Urdu should be and is written in roman. Same thing goes to Firaq, raosha and Chiraagh. And to make matter worst you write 'naJdeeki'. How can you call yourself French when the very word French is not known to you.
There is no surprises for this mess. We get entangled not only by the forced ropes of people who want to dominate but by foolish arguments like a 'Q' should alway preceed a 'u' etc. Come on, your defaults are not Urdu and that is the reason I call upon you to have some sense of a 'z' and 'j'. Hope your 'Jaleel'(name) must not be Zaleel(character) and vice vera.
You reply on this would determine what you can stand for. Yes, the small things matter as does our shaheed 'Shahid' does!!
