Jamia Prof to be Guest Editor of Computer Society of India Communications

New Delhi: Prof. M.M. Sufyan Beg, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, has been invited to be the Guest Editor of the November 2010 issue of Computer Society of India Communications. This would be a special issue on “Fuzzy Computing”, an area that Prof Beg has worked on extensively.

CSI Communications is considered as one of the best-read magazines of Computer Society of India (CSI), a pioneering technical society in the country. CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry right through its formative years to its current avatar. It has 66 chapters all over India, with 381 student branches, and more than 40000 members including India’s IT industry leaders, renowned scientists, and committed academicians.

“Prof. Beg, a Ph.D. in Computer Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, has many awards and achievements to his credit, this being the latest,” said JMI Media Coordinator.
