Cabinet Minister Dr Nazrul Islam has been given Food & Civil Supplies, Welfare of Minorities and Haj. Another cabinet minister and Congress leader Rockybul Hussain has got Panchayat & Rural Development, Environment & Forest.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi: Home, Political, Finance, Personnel, GDD, GAD, SAD, AR&T, Election, Passport, Information Technology, Science & Technology, and any other department which is not allotted.
