The believers indulged in prayers, sought forgiveness from God and the gathering also took an oath to promote world peace, foster communal harmony and eschew alcoholism at the event organised by Ma’din Academy on Monday, July 13, 2015.

All India Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama general secretary Kanthapuram A P Aboobacker Musliar inaugurated the meet while Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama president E Sulaiman Usthad presided over. Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari, chairman of Ma’din Academy and founder of the conference delivered the Ramadan message in the meet.

Khaleel also administered a pledge for the world peace, against terrorism and alcoholism. “We re-affirm that usurping the rights of fellow beings is a grave offence to humanity. We honour the dignity of others. Even when we take pride in being a Muslim, we respect and honour all other faiths and their followers. We will keep a continuous vigil against forces that work to destroy the oneness of humanity,” he said.
