Urdu teacher from Solapur writes book on importance of human organs

Solapur (Maharashtra): In an attempt to highlight the importance and functions of internal human organs an assistant teacher of urdu high school solapur has written a book called ‘Insani Jism ka andaruni aaza’.

The 40- page book, written by Junaid Abdul Qayyum Shaikh, 38, an assistant teacher at Social High School and Junior College of Science, Solapur was launched by Dr.Noor Maldar vice chancellor of Solapur University on October 4. The launch was in the distinguished presence of MLA Praniti Shinde, Dr.Amjad Sayed and Principal A.Jabbar Shaikh.

Shaikh, who has completed master degree in science (MSC) and bachelor of education (B.Ed) wrote this book in Urdu. In order to reach out more readers some of his colleagues demanded that he should also translate it in other languages Shaikh also added that he received requests from other cities to make the available in their city-based bookstores to avoid time consuming process of postal or courier service

The author used his own knowledge and referred some general books in compiling the present book.
The book presents that human body is a formation of various organs. Each and every organ has its own importance and function. In this book, the author tried to provide information on heart, brain, kidneys,lungs and liver through five chapters, and ill effects in case of negligence in a dramatic manner.

Speaking with Twocircles.net, Shaikh said that these days days we are experiencing rapid increase of patients suffering from diseases of these key organs due to lack of knowledge. “Most of the children and adult are away from habit of general reading. They don’t even know about their body, functions of the different organs and precautionary measures. It is our lack of knowledge which puts us in serious medical emergency,” he added.

Dr. Amjad Sayed, a city-based cardiologist praised Shaikh for bringing out this book in such an interesting manner and highlighting the remedies to protect our organs. He further added that our most of students consider Science as a dry subject; in fact it is study of Almighty’s creations and quite interesting too.

It is notable that Junaid Shaikh has already written a 92-pages urdu book last year on contribution of Muslim scientist in field of science, which received very good response from educated section of the society and Urdu-knowing circles of maharshtra and other states.
