Bhopal : RK Singh, Executive Director, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL), Bhopal unit in a simple function held at Traction Department handed over the documents of TM 3801,350HP machine to Mahesh Chand Pant, Executive Director, RDSO .
The BHEL, Bhopal unit made Traction Motors will be exported to Angolan Railways. Sukul Lomash, Prabhat Kumar, U.Chatterjee, GD Verma, General Managers and senior executives including large number of employees were present on this occasion.
Singh in his address said that the continuous rise in exports from the Unit reflects BHEL’s recognition and strengthening position in the international market as well as faith of customers in BHEL products. While complimenting the employees of Bhopal Unit for this achievement, he termed this event as a milestone for the department and the Unit.
Pant in his address said that BHEL made Traction Motors are playing a vital role for Railways . He complimented the executives and employees of BHEL for rising demand of BHEL products in the Global Market and maintaining excellent Quality Standards.
It is notable that BHEL, Bhopal had earlier supplied TM 4501 Traction Motors to Angolan Railways. Due to extra-ordinary performance of these machines, Angolan Government has given an order for 20 TM 3801 Traction Machines.
