Two Indian soldiers, one insurgent killed in Kashmir

New Delhi : As many as two Indian Army personnel and an Pakistan-based insurgent have been killed and six troopers injured in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district along the Indo-Pak border.

A group of insurgents were trying to re-enter into Pakistan via Line of Control in Keri sector of the Rajouri district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir late Wednesday night, Press Trust of India reported Thursday quoting an official of Kashmir Police.

In the subsequent encounter, two Army men and an insurgent were killed, the official added.
Six Army men, including an officer and junior commissioned officer were also injured in the incident, the official said.

A search operation has been launched in the area to nab the other insurgents.
