Baghdad : A resistance armed command killed four army soldiers and wounded seven others in an attack against a military patrol nearby Al Bubali city, in the western Iraqi province of Al Anbar on Friday.
The Iraqi troops had the support of US helicopters, and their crew members confirmed to have killed six fighters.
The Iraqi Army reported six dead and 13 wounded among its troops in a string of insurgent attacks in the last 12 hours.
The sixth soldier lost his life in a bomb attack on a checkpoint in Muqdadiya, eastern provinceof Diyala.. According to police sources, another six troops were injured in that attack.
Another important action highlighted by the local press in the last few hours was the arrest in the northern Mosul city of an alleged terrorist named Abu Ayyub al Masri.
