Tehran : Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini stressed on Sunday that suspension of Iran’s nuclear enrichment activities “is totally unacceptable.”
Hosseini made the remarks at his weekly press conference commenting on a recent report by the German magazine ‘Focus’ quoting Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani as saying that suspension was not out of question.
“I personally talked to Larijani in this regard. The magazine has reported his comments inappropriately,” said the spokesman.
He stressed that Larijani had told the German magazine that enrichment suspension could be an outcome of the nuclear talks.
“Larijani has also stressed that the issue of suspension is by no means acceptable as it is a vital issue,” Hosseini said.
