Addressing thousands of Tehrani worshipers at Central Campus of Tehran university, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani in his second sermon referred to the comments made by a US Senator on emerged differences of opinion and discords in Iran and the Islamic World.

He added, “This US Senator who is meanwhile a nominee for the upcoming US presidential elections says he would take full advantage of the existing gaps and discord within the Iranian society and the Islamic World, announcing that the way to confront the Iranians is sowing the seeds of discord among them.

This week’s Friday preacher of Tehran said, “A hand is seen in the newly emerged political scandal in the United States in which the lies told by the US statesmen are revealed and that is God’s hand.”

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani referred to the propaganda and threatening methods applied by Americans against Iran and our peaceful nuclear activities, adding, “But it is God’s tradition to permit the evil forces to shout aloud and to be tested for truthfulness, but then suddenly the truth would prevail and hit on the head of the untruthful.”

The Friday preacher reiterated, “It has been years now that the US government has kept on chanting slogans against the Islamic Republic of Iran, but today it was made clear that they were all based on lies.”

Referring to another part of the US Senator’s remarks in addressing President Bush regarding his military threats against Iran, Ayatollah Kashani said, “This Senator tells Bush has no insight about the nature of the Iranians, since otherwise he would not have threatened Iran of a military attack.”

Kashani added, “As this US Senator says, they have been keeping themselves amused dreaming about bombing Iran’s nuclear centers, but they are incapable of heeding the realities.”

He said, “This US Senator says that the US Armed forces are scattered in the world today, a part of them are engaged in Iraq, another part in Afghanistan, while the Americans are also facing a country with a highly solid powerful army. Even if America would manage to destroy their strong radar systems, the US forces would at last be faced with the persevering Iranian Army and the strong Revolutionary Guard Corps.”

The provisional Friday Prayer leader of tehran said, “As this US senator has reiterated, seventy million Iranians are backing up their political system sincerely, and such a strong support has roots in the country’s divine leadership.”

Ayatollah Kashani considered the Leadership of the Supreme Source f Jurisprudence — Velayat e Faqih — as the main source of this nation and this country’s power, arguing, “Today the heart of our enemy is filled with fear due to the role that the Supreme Leader plays and due to his strong influence.”

Referring to other parts of this US Senator’s remarks, he said, “This Senator said the Lebanese Hezbollah, that is merely a group inside Lebanon, managed to resist all alone in its confrontation with the Israeli Army, of which the West used to refer to as a capable force, now how are you going to confront the seventy million strong Iran?”

The Friday preacher of Tehran this week reiterated, “This Senator says attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities would be highly catastrophic for the Americans, and even though the US would enter such a war relying on precise plans it would face new humiliation.”

“The US Senator threatens Bush and his Administration that if they would venture to do so the entire US lawyers would sue them and summon them to courts of justice,” added Kashani.

Referring to the Conference of the Heads of Islamic Countries Judiciary Forces, he said, “The Western laws are not comparable with Islam’s advanced judiciary laws, since in the political scenes of the West no rights are respected, and all in all, the Westerners consider no rights for the human beings.”
