“South Korea and North Korea have agreed to hold the 7th round of general-level military talks from Dec 12-14 at the House of Peace on the southern side of Panmunjom,” the ministry said in a press release.

It said during the talks the two sides would discuss how to support inter-Korean economic cooperation projects, including ways of facilitating passage, communications, and customs into the Kaesong industrial complex, a new industrial joint venture between the two countries.

They will also discuss the disputed maritime border of the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the Yellow Sea, local media said.

The five-member South Korean delegation to the talks will be led by Major General Lee Hong-kee, while General Kim Yong-chul will lead the North Korean delegation.
