Two Palestinians injured in Israeli air raids north Gaza — medical sources

Gaza : Two Palestinians were injured in two air raids launched by Israeli forces north of Gaza Strip late on Tuesday, medical sources reported on Wednesday.

“Israeli warplanes fired five missiles at Palestinian targets near Al-Sheikh Zayed town north of Gaza injuring two Palestinians and damaging a number of houses in the area,” a medical source said.

The Israeli Army said its warplanes attacked with missiles, last night, a base used by Palestinian resistance fighters near Beit Lahaya north of Gaza.

An Israeli army spokesman told the Israeli radio that the attack destroyed the missile base.

The spokesman also mentioned that three missiles were launched, last night, from northern Gaza towards southern Israel.

He said the missiles exploded in an area near Gaza and that no casualties or material damage were reported.
