Reports of similar attacks are coming in from Uttarakhand and Rajasthan as well.
Meanwhile, Dr. Udit Raj, President of the Indian Justice Party strongly condemned the attacts by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) members that resulted in destruction of at least 13 churches on Christmas Eve.

Mr. Raj alleged that these incidents are “organized crimes and a tacit support of Navin Patnaik government can not be ruled out.” Mr. Raj said that VHP and BD can not see that the tribals of Orissa are being helped by Christian missionaries with education, health and awareness about human rights. “The so-called casteist foces have never liked that SC/STs should get equal rights and dignity,” said, Mr. Raj who also heads the All India Confederation of SC/ST organisations.

Protest for tomorrow will be joined by a number of Christian organizations.
