New Delhi : Doordarshan-I will telecast live the men's and women's singles finals of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships from London this weekend.
Public broadcaster Prasar Bharati said in a release here Thursday that the women's final will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday and will be shown till the end while the men's match Sunday will also start at 6 p.m.
Doordarshan will also telecast, on the same channel, one-hour highlights of the two finals a day after the two matches. The highlights of the women's singles final will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday and those of the men's final will be shown at the same time Monday.
