New Delhi : Observing that India's relations with China had been improving, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday expressed the confidence that "some solution" to the boundary issue would emerge through dialogue between the two countries.

"Two neighbours were engaged in a "sustained dialogue" on the basis of the Agreement on Political Parameters and Guiding Principles signed in 2005," Singh said while interacting with a group of women journalists here, Thursday.

"I am confident that through the dialogue, some solution will emerge," he said.

The two countries are engaged in talks, through their Special Representatives, to find a "just and amicable" solution to the boundary issue.

Both sides have been maintaining that there could be no overnight solution to the issue.

However, notwithstanding the boundary dispute, relations between the two neighbours have been growing, particularly in trade and the economic field, Singh said.
