Patna: The state Government has started to actively implement minority welfare schemes in the whole state.
The Chief Minister had instructed the Chief Secretary to make sure that all people belonging to the minority community were reaping the benefits with the schemes and programs introduced for their welfare.
Following these instructions, the Chief Secretary has ordered the District Magistrates of all the districts in Bihar to run all programs under their supervision.
The responsibility of implementation of all the projects and programs will be on the District Development Commissioner (DDC) and the District Magistrate will monitor it.
According to sources, Collectors have also instructed to establish a minority cell in all the districts by DDC and to appoint any officer to be in charge.
This very cell will keep its eyes on the welfare work and submit its report to the Minority Welfare Department through the Collector every month.
The report that people of minority committee are getting or not, according to their population, Â the advantages of the schemes running under 20 programs and different schemes, should be sent to the department like the reports submitted every month, running for scheduled caste and scheduled tribes and women.
It is expected that with this decision by the Government, that actions will be taken on minority welfare plans and people of minority communities will be benefited according to their population, with 20 and 15 programs run by the central and state Governments.
