London : Switzerland's Roger Federer added yet another feather in his illustrious cap here Sunday as he won the Wimbledon men's singles title beating Spain's Rafael Nadal, becoming only the second male player to win the coveted trophy five times in a row after Bjorn Borg.
Federer beat Nadal 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2 in a tightly contested tie.
With this win, the Swiss champion bagged his 11th career Grand Slam. He has so far won three Australian Open and three US Open titles.
