Islamabad : Rocket assault on Bannu city of Pakistan’s restive North-West Frontier Province early Wednesday killed at least 14 people, GEO TV said.
Another 35, including five policemen, were injured when rockets launched by unknown militants hit a hotel, residence of an official and a market in the area, GEO said on its website.
The report quoting unnamed sources said seven dead bodies including those of a woman and two children have been brought to Bannu Hospital.
Authorities fear the death toll could mount, as some of the survivors were critical.
