"I am on the top of the world. I am speechless," Bose told IANS soon after the news of his selection reached Kolkata.

"I am happy that I have been able to make my parents happy. I want to do well for India," he said.

The teams for the Ireland and England tours were announced Tuesday evening by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in New Delhi.

Ranadeb, however, failed to find a slot in the one-day team.

After getting cold-shouldered for India's two-Test series against Bangladesh, Ranadeb finally got selected. There was a hint of his selection when he got a call for the national pacers' camp at Mysore.

He has got 57 Ranji wickets in eight matches emerging as the highest wicket taker in Ranji matches in the last season (2006-07).

Bose was not named in the 30 probables for the World Cup, who were selected midway during the season.

"I am extremely happy to see him (Bose) in the team finally," said former national selector Sambaran Banerjee here.
