Malkangiri (Orissa) : At least three people were killed and four severely injured Monday when the sand-laden truck they were travelling in overturned in Orissa's Malkangiri district, police said.
The mishap occurred in the afternoon near Guma village in Malkangiri, around 500 km from Bhubaneswar, a police official told IANS.
The vehicle was travelling from Ambatola village to Chitrakonda town in the district.
Those killed have not yet been identified.
The injured were first taken to a government hospital in nearby Kalimela town but were later moved to the district hospital, the official added.
