India opt to bat as Chawla makes debut

Dhaka : India won the toss and captain Rahul Dravid decided to bat against Bangladesh in the second One-Day International that was delayed due to morning drizzle at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here Saturday.

Leg-spinner Piyush Chawla is making his ODI debut after he was included in the 11 replacing pacer Sreesanth, who has a sour calf. Sreesanth had gone out of the field after bowling just five overs due to the same problem in the first match that India won by five wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the three match series.

Bangladesh also made a change in their team, replacing Shahadat Hossian with strike bowler Mashrafe Mortaza, who missed the first match due to back spasm.
