Islamabad : Nine people were injured when a car bomb blew up Tuesday near the Peshawar High Court in north-west Pakistan, hospital officials said.
It was not clear who staged the explosion, which followed a series of recent blasts and attacks by suspected Islamic militants in and around the capital of the troubled North-West Frontier Province (NWFP).
Another seven people, including two paramilitary troops, died and a dozen were injured in bombings and clashes with security forces in the NWFP towns of Tank and Bannu since Monday.
