Tokyo : Japanese manufacturers have picked India over long-time favourite China as the most attractive business location, media reports said Friday.
A survey conducted by Japan Bank for International Cooperation showed that 70 percent of 600 Japanese manufacturers preferred India as a place to do business for the next decade.
Some 67 percent chose China, which had been the top choice in the past years among firms that operate overseas production outlets, while 37 percent picked Russia and 28 percent opted for Vietnam, Kyoto News Agency said quoting the survey.
The survey was conducted between July and August among 970 companies, 600 of which had replied.
