Mumbai : Mumbai-based Percept Talent Management (PTM) has signed talented Australia all-rounder Michael Clarke as its first international client, the company said in a statement here Wednesday.
“For us, it’s the talent that counts. The country or domain that the personnel may be in is secondary. If we believe that the person has potential, we will ensure that he or she gets complete backing from our team,” said PTM COO Vinita Bangard.
“Clarke is Australia’s star to look out for in the future. He has already displayed his prowess to the cricketing world – enough to show that he is here to stay.”
Clarke, 26, who made a sensational Test debut scoring a fine 151 against India in Bangalore in 2004, has so far scored 1,512 runs in 27 matches at an average of 42.00. In 119 One-day Internationals, he has performed better, amassing 3,551 runs at 44.94.
