India and Armenia to partake in Minsk celebrations

Minsk : Foreign delegations intend to take part in the celebration of the Day of the Belarusian capital. Representatives of India and Armenia have already arrived in Minsk.

As Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said to the journalists in the national airport Minsk, India values highly the relations with Belarus and intends to develop mutual contacts in different areas.

“We have such relations in the scientific field and will try to boost their further development. The matter also concerns trade, economy, education, culture and other sides of interaction,” the Chief Minister of the Indian capital stated in the interview to the First National Channel. Ms Sheila Dikshit plans to hold several business meetings Friday.

The Indian delegation will visit the children’s surgical center of hospital #1, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Representatives of Armenia also aim to conduct some business meetings in order to strengthen economic links with the Belarusian capital. Minsk and Yerevan have an agreement on mutual cooperation, and the current visit will promote bilateral relations, the delegation representatives underscored.
