Islamabad : The confidence building measures between Pakistan and India on Jammu and Kashmir “have not been wasted”, Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri has said.
He expressed confidence that the “next government” – meaning the one that takes office after parliamentary elections in his country – “would benefit from the progress made in the CBMs (confidence building measures) and continue the peace process”.
He said a solution to the Kashmir issue required “political will” but did not elaborate, The Daily Times said.
