India set South Africa 154 to win

Durban : Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 50 to help India to 153 for five wickets in 20 overs against South Africa in a crucial Super Eights match of the Twenty20 World Championship here Thursday.

Apart from Sharma’s 40-ball knock (7x4s, 2x6s), captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the other main contributor with a 33-ball 45 (4x4s, 1×6) after India won the toss and chose to bat at the Kingsmead ground.

Veteran pacer Shaun Pollock took two wickets for 17 runs.

India needs to win this match to qualify for the semi-finals.
