Johannesburg : Simon Taufel of Australia and Mark Benson of England have been named the on-field umpires for Monday’s final of the Twenty20 World Championships between India and Pakistan at the Wanderers Stadium here.
The International Cricket Council, in a press release Sunday, stated that Sri Lanka’s Ranjan Madugalle would be the match referee while Daryl Harper of Australia will be the TV umpire for the final.
Billy Doctrove of the West Indies has been appointed the fourth umpire for the game scheduled to start 1400 local time (1200 GMT).
All the umpires are from ICC’s elite panel.
