Bangalore : Australia Captain Adam Gilchrist won the toss and elected to bat against India in the first one-day international of the seven-match Future Cup series here Saturday.
For India, Irfan Pathan comes back in the side after a long time while Harbhajan Singh, Dinesh Karthik and local lad Robin Uthappa had to sit out.
Australia’s regular captain Ricky Ponting misses the match due to a hamstring injury.
