New Delhi : Ansar Burney, former caretaker Human Rights Minister has stressed the need to ease visa restrictions between Pakistan and India.
Burney, who reached Indian Punjab along with his family members on Wednesday on the invitation of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said he would visit Bhikhiwind village to collect evidence about Indian death row convict Sarabjit Singh from his family.
He will also stay with Kashmir Singh in his village, who was recently released from Pakistani jail.
Ansar Burney said he had applied for an all-India visa but he was granted permission to visit only three cities due to which he would miss a tour of Taj Mahal.
