Maj Gen Muhammad Asif appointed as Director of premier spy agency, Military Intelligence

Islamabad : Major General Muhammad Asif has been appointed Director of the premier spy agency, Military Intelligence (MI), according to an official statement.

The incumbent MI chief Maj Gen Nadeem Ejaz has been posted as General Officer Commanding Bahawalpur.

Ejaz is stated to be a relative of President Pervez Musharraf. Chief of the Army Staff General Pervez Ashfaq Kayani made the new appointment of the MI chief.
