New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided at the residence of a senior official working with Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) and claimed to have unearthed unaccounted for assets worth Rs. 12 million.
“After registering a case of disproportionate assets, raids were conducted at four places of G.B.S. Prasad, executive director RINL, in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad Thursday,” the CBI said here Friday in a press statement.
“During the search, CBI has found six bank accounts carrying amount of Rs. 4.1 million. Immovable properties, cash deposits and jewellery totalling to Rs.12 million were also seized, the statement added.
