Dhaka : Three people, including a minor boy, were killed as a car crashed into a truck in Bangladesh’s Narsingdi district, 45 km northwest of capital Dhak, Monday afternoon.
Police and witnesses were quoted by private news agency UNB as saying the fatal accident occurred as the driver of the private car lost control over the steering.
“The car rammed into the standing truck at about 5:00 p.m., leaving the car driver and a passenger dead on the spot and injuring three others,” said a spot account of the accident.
The minor boy died on way to Narsingdi district hospital.
The seriously injured two other passengers of the car were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
